Founded in 2005, Clinic for Pediatric Medicine Helena is a specialized healthcare institution dedicated to the medical care of children and young people. In addition to preventive and curative healthcare, we systematically implement diagnostic and rehabilitation procedures, providing comprehensive medical care for young patients in line with modern European pediatric medicine. The clinic’s spaces are designed like a playroom and equipped with state-of-the-art medical devices tailored for children. Our success is based on continuous staff education, accessibility to patients, and fast, all-in-one service.

Since July 2017, the clinic has been operating at a new location on Kneza Branimira Street in Zagreb, in a modernized facility. Thanks to an EU-funded project, the clinic has fully renovated the historic administrative building of Zagreb’s “Uljara,” originally built in 1912 based on the designs of Vjekoslav Heinzel. The newly expanded space is fully adapted for pediatric care and further equipped with EU funds, allowing for the expansion of specialized pediatric services and the acquisition of cutting-edge diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitation medical equipment.

In July 2023, a new branch opened at Ljudevita Posavskog 31, established as a Center for Neuropediatrics, Rehabilitation, and Early Intervention. This center brings together experienced specialists in neuropediatrics, rehabilitation, speech therapy, and psychology. With support from another EU-funded project, this unique private specialized center is equipped with sophisticated new technology for early diagnostics, prevention, and rehabilitation.

Beyond general medical services, Clinic for Pediatric Medicine Helena is recognized as a Regional Center of Excellence for children with neurogenic bladder and bowel dysfunction. This includes children with spina bifida, spinal or pelvic tumors, trauma, or nerve damage from surgeries or injuries. Due to the chronic and lifelong nature of these conditions, affected children require continuous and specialized medical care, particularly during their most sensitive developmental years. At our clinic, these patients receive a multidisciplinary approach from highly specialized experts trained in leading global medical centers.
